Sliver Wattle (Acacia Dealbata) | 13cm pot | MimosaFor sale a young Silver Wattle (Acacia Dealbata) tree in a 13cm pot. These have been raised from seed organically by myself. One of my favourite trees, it looks great in a large pot or as a feature tree in garden. I have one in a pot outside my house (see picture) that is now 7 foot high and has been outside the last two winters unprotected and has been fine albeit I am in the South I suspect that they need some winter fleecing if temperatures drop

My 2yo plants in the garden in pots already have some fruit on them

All our seeds are dry cold stored to ensure they reach customers in optimum condition

This beautiful tree is perhaps best known for its use in wedding bouquets

taking care not to sow them too thickly

They can endure lowish but not freezing temperatures

The seeds should germinate within six to eight weeks

very slow to get established

Located at the base of these leaves is a compact stem where the cones develop
