Pink and Gold Ce/Nd YAG Flower Cut Gem (88.2 ct)This is a golden CeNd YAG laser garnet I faceted in my custom Pink and Gold Flower design, which weighs in at 88. 2 ct. It features a pink glowing zone right at the table, giving it an amazing glow effect under UV light. The golden base of the stone shifts to orange in some lights and has dual fluorescence, glowing yellow green under blue and violet light and pale orange under 365nm long wave UV. I faceted this stone using our CutKit Mast. Note that

The side holders have detents to keep the precision handpiece in place but allow it to be removed if desired

This was custom grown for us with a formula we developed from advanced phosphor research--similar material has probably only ever been grown as powders

The result is a bright and very dispersive gem with optical properties similar to diamond (cubic crystal structure with a lower RI but the same dispersion as diamond)

It also has bright lime green fluorescence under 365nm UV

It shows purple

and often have cool crystallization features on the surface as well
