I was delighted to find these two portraits tucked away in a country saleroom during the first lockdown for something of a steal

However in the mid-1950s he met the 16 year old Claire while she was working as an artists model
making every piece one of a kind
She was built in Setubal in 1901 and retired from fishing in 1969
make the Atlantic crossing to fish on the Grand Banks of Newfoundland
