Famille Hugel, Riesling Grossi LaueThe purity of this wine is phenomenal with sliced apples, melon, minerals and hints of chalk. It's full bodied, dense, and compacted with a super finish. There is almost a saltiness on the finish. Dried fruits too such as lemons, limes and papaya. From the best parcel of the Schonenberg. Very long and incredible. Goes on for minutes. So amazing now but will age forever. I marvel in its complexity and completeness.

The 2016 Chardonnay Cuvée Anne Rose has nuanced aromas of apricot

There is fine density to the powerful yet caressing medium-bodied flavors that are a bit less mineral- driven but much more complex and persistent on the overtly saline finish

not unctuous but offers very good intensity and snap

Here too moderate wood is present on the aromas of honeysuckle

pliant and supple

The palate impression is one of contrasts as the medium weight flavors possess good richness and body while the focused and chalky finish is crisp and dry
