It's built around a superb white opal that smoulders with acid green and orange red play of colour the iridescent optical effect unique to opal. The wide, flat band flares out towards the head forming two points to either side of the stone and a florentine finish, with that unusual sheen that sparkles as it catches the light, that dates it firmly to the '50s 60s.
