but the Mexican pieces have larger "balls"

although it does have a couple contacts on the back

This piece hosts several white/cream-colored botryoidal aggregates of Anhydrite which are sitting on white Quartz matrix with accenting pink Rhodochrosite and minor sulfides

The piece actually sits on its own without the aid of base or clay

I think that Boleite easily ranks among the top species in the world in terms of a combination rarity and beauty

distinct Smoky Quartz crystal with rich internal color and an interesting interrupted growth on one end

and exceptionally rare on the market

Very little edge wear

with muted luster created by a coating of a secondary clay mineral

though there is one broken crystal of Brookite on the lower right side of the piece
