Jamaica Caper Tree

Jamaica Caper TreeLatin name Quadrella jamaicensis The Jamaica Caper Tree is an evergreen shrub or small tree with striking white flowers that change to pink in a few hours. These fragrant blooms attract a variety of pollinators and it is the larval host for the Florida white butterfly. It does well in coastal areas as it can tolerate drought, salt, and hurricane winds well. This plant makes a great understory tree, growing between 6 18 feet tall.
