Vintage Gres Parfums Bow BroochVintage 1980's Gres Parfums bow brooch. This chunky brooch would have been a promotional piece of jewellery for their most popular perfume 'Cabochard' launched in 1958. On the back of the brooch it is stamped 'Parfums Gres Paris'. The brooch has a high shine and is heavy in weight. CONDITION The brooch is in excellent vintage condition.
The stones are set in 9ct rose gold
The back of the brooch has an attractive rounded mount
The cameo features a lady wearing a necklace with a bezel silver setting and a decorative woven yellow gold setting
The pendant is in excellent antique condition and the ribbon is new
and 'Duette' are just three examples
round and faceted glass stones claw set into a triangular setting
The rose measures 7cm in diameter
9cm in length and 1cm in width
This brooch is decorated with two tones of blue enamelling highlighting the birds feathers
Graduating blue faceted beads with a subtle marbling on through them and pale blue bicone beads interspaced between them
featuring delicate floral etchings on the front and the back of the pendant
The back of the brooch is closed with an open 'c' clasp
