Each piece is in excellent condition, with no damage. The mirrors are clear and the enamel is thick and gorgeous. No missing jewels on either piece. The double mirror compact has a regular and magnifying mirror and has a nice shiny gold finish. The lipstick case is lined with dark blue velvet and has a clear mirror in the lid. It also has a blank central gold cartouche for engraving

and one tiny dark spot inside the lid

The hinge and closure work perfectly and it opens to a mirror with some silver loss
